Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to customers - Interact with customers, take orders, and provide recommendations based on their preferences - Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area - Check identification to ensure customers are of legal drinking age - Monitor customer behavior and intervene as needed to prevent overconsumption or disturbances - Handle cash transactions and operate the POS system accurately - Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of food orders - Adhere to all health and safety regulations
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a bartender or in a similar role - Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks simultaneously - Strong customer service skills with the ability to create a welcoming and friendly atmosphere - Knowledge of different types of alcoholic beverages, cocktail recipes, and brewing techniques - Familiarity with food service procedures in a restaurant setting - Understanding of retail math for calculating bills, tips, and discounts - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Please note that this job description is not exhaustive and additional duties may be assigned as needed.
