Summary:
The Chick fil A Brand Director is responsible for leading the overall operations the food brand business, focusing on operational excellence, maintaining the Franchisor relationship and building profitable top line sales.
This role is part of the Food Brands leadership team, helping to establish goals and direction for the business.
This position will have shared operational and P&L responsibility for all current and future Chic fil A locations and will report directly to the Vice President of Food Brands.
Essential Functions:
Establish clear sales goals with each Restaurant Manager for your Network.
Create and execute effective action plans and conduct follow-up visits that drive accountability.
Hold key relationships with the Franchisor leadership, ensure we are represented professionally and extract as much value from the relationship as possible.
Represent Applegreen at Franchisor conferences and meetings.
Ensure the effective execution and development of systems & tools that enable Restaurant Managers to control labor, prevent loss, manage food cost, and deliver traveler experiences to established targets.
Lead and coordinate the opening teams and Brand champions to ensure the smooth openings of new restaurants.
Ensure effective execution of all marketing initiatives and product launches.
Identify and communicate revenue and cost saving opportunities to the business effectively.
Communicate results, recognize top performance, share best practices, and encourage collaboration with the entire brand Management Team so they can learn & achieve results together.
Develop a culture of excellence in food safety and brand standards - make a difference on every visit.
Lead and help develop any operational excellence initiatives within the brand Lead by example and promote an environment where the Restaurant Manager, associates and Brand Champions understand there is a sense of urgency to satisfy each traveler.
Teach, coach, and develop them on how to exceed traveler expectations with speed and a smile that leads to increased traveler satisfaction.
Review traveler feedback and engage the team in developing action plans to improve the traveler experience.
Monitor each restaurant team to make sure they are following and using training tools to foster consistent knowledge and drive deliverables.
Support participation and teach/design learning programs for the Restaurant Managers so they are continuously learning skills that lead to operational excellence.
Provide ongoing feedback to Restaurant Managers and associates through frequent communication.
Recognize achievements and resolve concerns in a timely manner.
Develop high performing leadership teams through rigorous selection, training, and ongoing professional development.
With HR and Plaza leadership ensure there is a succession plan in place for GM's Coach the Restaurant Managers on how to hire, train and develop the best associates and plan staffing levels to meet traveler and business needs that drive results.
Develop a training restaurant within the business and as the business grows in numerous geographies.
If applicable, manage and develop Brand Champions dedicated to Chick-fil-A.

Requirements:
Multi-unit management required.
Strong supervisory and leadership skills.

Excellent time management skills and ability to work across all shifts.
Travel up to 50% of working hours Familiarity with food handling, safety, and other restaurant guidelines.
